Regular maintenance keeps the system in optimal condition. Frequency depends on usage.

  1. Stylus and sleeve — repeated impact causes wear and clearance growth. Remove the stylus, clean with gasoline, dry, apply lubricant, and reassemble. Typically 2–3 times per week.
  2. Print head — linear guides and motors collect chips/dust; clean guides regularly and keep lubrication adequate.
  3. Air path — keep air clean and dry; drain filters and check for leaks.
  4. Electrical — keep connectors tight; avoid moisture and vibration damage.

Proper care extends life and stabilizes marking quality on the line.
